Retail Store Manager – Liberty Graphics | Camden, ME
We are seeking a dynamic Retail Store Manager to lead our Camden location. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven leader who thrives in a retail environment, is dedicated to exceptional customer service, and excels in team development. The Retail Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, driving sales performance, and ensuring a welcoming shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Store Operations: Oversee daily activities, including store opening/closing, cash handling, and security procedures.
- Sales & Strategy: Set sales targets, monitor performance, and implement strategies to maximize revenue.
- Customer Service: Deliver outstanding service, address customer concerns, and foster lasting relationships.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing team while managing schedules to ensure peak coverage.
- Inventory & Merchandising: Maintain accurate stock levels, pricing, and visual displays; manage ordering and stock replenishment.
- Marketing & Community Engagement: Collaborate on in-store promotions and events to increase sales and strengthen ties with the Camden community.
- Financial Oversight: Manage the store’s budget, track key performance metrics, and implement cost-effective practices.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and maintain a clean, inclusive environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in retail management or leadership roles.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with retail management software (e.g., POS systems).
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Education:
- College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.
